PAWS has welcome a few wonderful dogs to our rescue.

These sweethearts were recently retired from a breeding operation and have produced their last little of puppies.

They have had some human contact but to the best of our knowledge, these babies have never lived in a home, have never heard a TV set, nor slept in a soft bed, at least not before they got to us.

They have soft warm beds now with plenty of attention from the volunteers and they are loving it.

Any of these dogs coming out of a breeding situation require time and patience to teach them how to be proper house mates but it's well worth the effort.

Courtney is adorable, curious and actually quite engaging with new people especially given her former housing.

She's about 10 years old and has raised her last litter of puppies.

Squeeky toys are a curious new thing for Courtney but she looks pretty cute tilting her head trying to figure out that new sound.

Courtney has been vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.

Her adoption fee is $150.
PAWS has added the H3N2/H3N8 combo flu vaccine to its shot protocol. Every dog is being vaccinated upon intake. Depending on how long they're here with us, they may received a second vaccination but if adopted right away, we urge adopters to get a second flu shot for their new family member to ensure as much protection against the flu as possible.
To meet our incredible dogs and offer them the love they deserve, stop by PAWS on Friday, Saturday or Sunday from 10 - 4 PM, call us at . We do applications in person or over the phone. You can also see pictures on our Facebook page, PAWS Jackson.
